"Cherish the beauty of life and discover your soul."

Let’s take the first step

I am an out-of-network provider meaning that I do not bill Insurance companies. Most people who see me pay out-of-pocket or use their out-of-network insurance benefits to defray a good portion of that cost.

If you are considering using out of network benefits check with your insurance company to see how much they reimburse for outpatient psychotherapy. You can pay me by credit card or cash and I am happy to provide you with a receipt and any other paperwork necessary.

Prior to deciding to use your insurance benefits to pay for therapy consider these important factors.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I believe that therapy should be accessible to everyone; for this reason I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee weekly appointments (based on financial hardship). Please contact me to discuss further.

How often will I see you?

I typically see individual clients once per week. Seeing each other weekly allows for the work to move along at a good pace.

How will I know if you're the right therapist for me?

This is a very important question. You are dedicating time and resources and want to be sure you are picking the right person. You should consider logistical factors (office location, availability) as well as personal factors (my training and expertise, personality, and 'the feel' you get). An initial phone conversation should be able answer some of these questions - I suggest that you think about the questions that will inform your decision. Sometimes you have to be in a room with someone before you truly have a feel for the person. The first couple of face- to-face sessions can continue to inform your decision and we can talk about any ongoing reservations or concerns you might have.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is the use of telecommunications technology, such as computers and mobile devices, that allows our clinicians to provide professional counseling and consulting services remotely. The goal of telehealth is to make these services more readily available for those who are unable to attend an in-therapy session. This services provides a convenient and effective way to stay engaged in treatment, leading to symptom relief and successful outcomes.

Patient Privacy and confidentiality are very important to me and therefore I have chosen a platform called Doxy.me to connect with clients using video-conferencing online. This system is HIPAA compliant and secure (encrypted). No software needs to be downloaded and there is no registration needed.

How to Connect?
Chances are you already have all the equipment you need to engage in a telehealth visit.

Here are the basics needed:
- Computer, smartphone or tablet
- Microphone (if not included in the mobile device or computer)
- Webcam (if not included in the mobile device or computer)
- Email address to receive the invite with link
